The free in-home evaluation
If an evaluation is the logical first step, Ryan will come to the instrument and give you a free evaluation, a formal proposal, and options for what can be done. There is no obligation. The point is that you understand your piano's condition before spending anything on it.
A technical evaluation looks at the whole instrument:
- Pitch and tuning stability
- Action condition and regulation: touch, response, and repetition
- Hammerhead wear and voicing condition
- Strings, dampers, felts, keys, and pedals
- Structural condition and humidity effects
- Case and finish condition
Appraisals
Bradshaw Piano Service also provides piano appraisals: a documented opinion of an instrument's condition and value, informed by decades of manufacturing, rebuilding, and dealership experience with every major brand. Appraisals are provided for insurance coverage, private sales, and charitable donations, with the fee quoted up front when you call.
Buying a used piano?
