Bradshaw Piano Service was founded by Barry and Phyllis Bradshaw and is carried on today by Ryan Jackson, who trained directly under them. The person who answers your call is the person who works on your piano.
THE FOUNDERS
Four decades inside the Baldwin grand piano factory
Bradshaw Piano Service is built on one of the deepest piano pedigrees in Arkansas. Barry and Phyllis Bradshaw spent more than forty years at the Baldwin grand piano factory in Conway, where, as Quality Control Managers, they were responsible for building and inspecting world-class grand pianos and for training the factory's 300-plus craftsmen in tuning, regulation, voicing, and finish.
They also managed Baldwin's polyester finishing factory and ran a piano-rebuilding operation that refinished, restrung, and rebuilt three to five grands a week for dealers across 22 states. In 1987 they brought that factory-level standard home and founded Bradshaw Piano Service to care for pianos throughout central Arkansas.

The tradition is in careful hands
Ryan Jackson came to piano work the way many fine technicians do: as a musician first. He spent years playing and personally maintaining a roomful of instruments (bass guitar, piano, guitar, drums), and developed the kind of ear for how an instrument should feel and sound that no manual can teach.
When he decided to make the craft his profession, he learned it at the source. Ryan worked alongside Barry and Phyllis Bradshaw for several years, training directly under the people who had set the standard at the Baldwin factory, before taking over Bradshaw Piano Service as its owner and sole technician. The knowledge wasn't picked up from a weekend course. It was handed down, one bench to the next.

The factory-trained standard the Bradshaws built their name on is the standard Ryan learned from them directly, and the one he brings to every instrument he touches, whether it's a home upright, a church grand, or a university performance stage. The goal is always the same: to make the piano perform at 100% of what it was built to do.
Where we work
Based in Little Rock, Ryan serves Conway and central Arkansas, caring for pianos in private homes, churches, schools, universities, and concert venues alike.
